Grace Wagner is an artist in central Oklahoma where she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and creating art.

Growing up, her family took trips to multiple National Parks. These trips instilled a love of nature and being outdoors. Much of her artistic inspiration comes from nature, music, and traveling.

After experiencing the changes and challenges of new motherhood amidst a worldwide pandemic, she found herself looking for a way to process and express those deep struggles and feelings. Finding fluid art as a medium coincided with the loss of her grandmother, launching her into experimenting with different techniques and learning from other artists in her community as she embraced working with a new and challenging medium.

Having to adapt with a piece as it evolves and accept that it will shift and change challenges one to find beauty and movement in every phase of life.

Stained glass started as a way to make unique gifts for friends/family and naturally grew into a medium that Grace has embraced and grown to enjoy. Over the past year she has taken classes at local glass studios to further develop her skills. The structure and technical aspects of the medium are challenging, inspiring, and deeply rewarding when a piece finally comes together to shine.
